WordBank is a service from Enabled London, a company working with people with learning disabilities to make information accessible for everyone.
The ideas for WordBank were developed with students from Richard Cloudesley, George Green and Beatrice Tate SEN (special education needs) schools. People with learning disabilities are good people to ask about making information accessible for everyone. This is why we consult with people with learning disabilities about the meanings of words used in WordBank.
This website has been developed with the Accelerator (part of the London Metropolitan University). The London Development Agency (LDA) and Enabled London limited have funded the production of this website.
